Is the cd-i compatible with burnt cds?

Yes however they must be colorless on
the bottom due to some issues like the
model 450's not being able to read discs
that have a hard time reading data from
discs that have blue bottoms and such.

Your best bet would be to visit: icdia.org
which has an enormous amount of data
regarding the format and useful tools for
CD duplication for us on CD-i systems.

I have backed up some cd-i games on basf cdr and they work a treat.
