Does anyone have official VCD's as released for the CD-I player? In
particular I hear "life of brian" and "how to irritate people" were
available.

This is the list of CD-i Digital Video and VideoCD titles that were released
by Philips Media as of June, 1995 -- it is the last catalog that I have, so,
may very well be the last one published by Philips. There were other
companies releasing titles for CD-i, and the ones you mentioned could have
come out from another source.

Key: an "X" in the VCD column means VideoCD format, the rest are CD-i

Oh thanks. (Are you btw the same person previously working on an
emulator for CDI? )

Nope. Christopher Rydberg (***@mac.com) was one of the folks
working on a CD-i emulator.

Yes, there were several other companies besides Philips releasing VCDs, but
I think it was Philips that was planning on releasing the Monty Python
titles.

OK, thanks again, although as I understood the emulator project was
all but abandoned (pity). So no use emailing him. Or do you think it
could still succeed?

To be precise, I believe there was Life of Brian, and How to irritate
people (strictly speaking pre-python). I've seen them but never could
get my hands on one. Don't know about any others.
