Firstly, it's a shame to see the state of this NG. Freaking spammers! OK,
I am looking for a CD-i gamepad, the "ergonomic" one that kind of
resembles a Sega Saturn controller. Does anyone have an idea where I can
get one? Do any of you guys have one for sale? I live in North Carolina,
USA. Thanks!

eBay, Goodwill, other thrifts? I had to get mine from eBay a few
monthes back when I got a CD-I player from Goodwill without the
controllers.

Or maybe you want to explore rolling your own? Check out this link:

http://www.alpinecom.net/phackmann/cdiadapter/

The original product was an adapter for PC-style gamepads that converted
the output into a format suitable for use on the CDi console. The guy who
built them isn't selling them any more, but at the bottom of his website
you'll see an archive of some of his design files. A guy with a soldering
iron and some amount of technical skill could conceivably build his own.

For the record? I recommend against the use of eBay for any reason. As a
customer I was very disappointed with the lack of services and protections
that you ordinarily get with any other form of purchase. eBay apparently
wasn't interested in keeping my business, and so I don't use the service
any more. You're free to do what you want, but I'll never use eBay again.

-KKC, who sold his only CDi console some years ago. Probably not my best
decision.
